Newcomer to Mobile Casino Games vows 100 Releases in 2017

Glück GamesHow does a new company make a name for itself in an industry as large and wildly competitive as digital gaming? It’s no easy task, as the countless failed startups will surely tell you. But the guys over at Glück Games seem to have it all figured out, promising to take the mobile casino games market by storm in 2017.

While attending the ICE Totally Gaming conference in London this week, the Berlin-based software group vowed to do something no competitor has ever attempted. Glück Games said it will produce 100 mobile casino games in a year. That’s quite a commitment – if they can pull it off.

Glück Games was launched just 16 months ago, and already has 40+ games in its portfolio. That’s rather impressive for the first year of operation. Now, they are aiming to more than double production in the current year.

Mobile Casino Games for Lottery Ops

Mobile Casino Games by Glück GamesThe ambitious software company specializes in lottery-style gambling amusements, including lotto, scratchies and other instant-win games. It’s initial portfolio was inspiring enough to draw some major industry clients in 2016, including Lottoland and Lottohelden.

Established in 2013, Lottoland is one of the largest and most famous operators of online lottery services, with its head office in Gibraltar. Lottoland was the first online betting supplier to be awarded a licence from regulators in Australia, with local offices situated in Woolner, NT.

Australians are so keen on the ability to participate in international lotteries online, they actually crashed the Lottoland servers in Australia in January 2016, right after the site launched, as more than 100,000 users streamed to the website to open an account and purchase tickets to the US Powerball that was, at that time, worth US $1.5 billion (AU $2.2 billion).

Suffice to say, if Glück Games was able to attract the attention of a global giant like Lottoland with its new mobile casino games product, they are clearly doing something right. And if they pull off this crazy scheme to roll out 100 new lotto, scratchies and instant win titles before the year is out, they are sure to attract a whole lot more clients by the time 2018 ICE rolls around.

Glück Playing It Smart

Robert Lenzhofer, CEO of the Berlin-based software firm, has obviously done his research. He said Glück Games won’t just be pushing out cookie-cutter designs of scratch cards to meet the quota, but is intent on delivering a variety of games that deliver interactive, social and meaningful experiences for players.

“We recognise that the lottery-player audience desires interactive experiences that deliver meaningful, sustained entertainment, not just traditional pure gambling experiences,” Lenzhofer told the ICE Live blog team.

The Lotto Machine by Glück Games“We assembled a creative team that understands how mobile and social games engage their audience. We strive to bring that knowledge and know-how to real money gaming and we look for external partners that share that philosophy,” he said.

Glück Games also had the honor of being selected as a Games 2 Watch exhibitor at 2017 ICE, where the company was able to put on a big display of one of its new mobile casino games, The Lotto Machine. Kevin Corti, Senior Games Producer for Glück, said the game will be targeted at online lottery audiences, describing it as a “fast paced fusion of lotto draw and slot machine game mechanics.”
