GRWA 2017 coming to Sydney to talk Wagering Australia

When it comes to wagering Australia is the crown jewel of the global gaming industry. For the 2014-15 fiscal year, the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation reported that the Australia wagering market generated more than AU-$24.1 billion in wagers. Segregating the expenditures, $11.589 billion—just over half—was spent on pokies. Another $8.7 billion went to the racing industry, with the remaining $815 million wagered on sports.

Australia Wagering Conference August 2017

The 2017 Gaming, Racing, and Wagering Australia (GRWA) summit will be hosted this year in Sydney at the Novotel on Darling Harbour. The conference will begin on Monday, August 14, and wraps up on Wednesday, August 16.

Now in its 8^th annual rendition, the GRWA will focus on some new topics this year. One of the more interesting features will be the GRWA’s first-ever interactive, pre-conference workshop.

The workshop is stacking up to be a can’t-miss feature of this year’s conference.
