High Times at Ainsworth: Slots Maker Preps for G2E, New Vegas Headquarters

After more than six decades, abound with grandiose occasions, Ainsworth Game Technology is preparing for one of its biggest weeks in the company’s long and illustrious history. The Australia-based slots maker is holding the grand opening of its new North American headquarters in Las Vegas, while preparing for its biggest showing ever at the annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E).

New Ainsworth North America Headquarters in Las Vegas, NevadaLater this week, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the new Ainsworth slots facility, located at 5800 Raphael Rivera Way in Las Vegas, Nevada. The grand occasion will proudly welcome the attendance of Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, as well as the company’s 93 year old founder, Len Ainsworth.

Those in attendance will witness the official opening of the new Ainsworth North America headquarters, which encompasses 219,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space. The new two-story custom designed structure is 6.5x larger than the former headquarters of Ainsworth NA, which its replacing.

The larger building will be able to accommodate operations for all of Ainsworth Game Technology’s casino clients in the United States, Canada and Latin America, which currently makes up more than 65% of the Ainsworth brand’s global revenue.

This new facility is our way of telling our customers we’re here to stay and they can rely on us to be here,” commented Ainsworth North America President Mike Dreitzer.

At it’s original headquarters in NSW, Australia, Ainsworth slots are produced for the brand’s other clientele across Australia, Macau and Singapore.

Slots Maker Gearing Up For G2E Las Vegas

G2E 2016 at Sands ExpoThis week marks the official start of the annual Global Gaming Expo 2016 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, the largest annual gaming exhibition in the world. This year, Ainsworth slots will take up more space at the convention than they ever have in previous years, having been allotted 6,480 square feet in which to exhibit 135 new slot machines and other products. Comparatively speaking, that’s considerably larger than most of today’s luxury home floor plans.

The company began hosting educational sessions at G2E yesterday, and from Tuesday-Thursday, will display more than 9,500 products. Over 50 of the new Ainsworth slots on the show floor have been built into the brand’s trademark A600 and A600 Slant Top cabinetry.

The company’s new A640 cabinet will debut several new titles that aren’t scheduled for release until December 2016. These include the King Kong Slot, King Kong: Skull Island Slot, The Magnificent Seven: Reloaded Slot and The Three Amigos Ride Again Slot.

The timely opening ceremony of the new Ainsworth NA headquarters was no coincidence, either. Once the ribbon is cut, the company will welcome guests of the convention into the new offices to show off their exquisite new working space.

According to Dreitzer, the facility, overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, isn’t exactly new to its employees, who are already enjoying the property’s extensive break room and gymnasium. “We actually moved in in April and we’re only now beginning to settle in,” Dreitzer admitted, extolling the modern game design studio. “We began planning for it four years ago, broke ground in October 2014 and then moved in in April.”
