Okay, we’ll admit it, we kinda like Bill & Ted. We enjoyed their Excellent Adventure, and whilst we didn’t enjoy the second film as much, it was good. We were too young to know any better, so please don’t hate us for it. No one is perfect.

This is hardly the best film to come out of the 90s, but it is one that will always be remembered by the MTV generation. As they are one of the generations that spends the most time gambling in the current age, it is perhaps no surprise that this film was used as a backdrop for a scratch card, although we’re not sure what they chose the sequel and not the original.

This scratch card is very fun and it also offers a jackpot of up to 2500x your stake. There isn’t a whole lot going on here, just a simple scotch card layout with 3 columns of 3 symbols, with the goal being to unveil three-of-a-kind and to collect the prizes indicated on the left side of the card.

Dawn of the Bread

Another classic film, albeit one with an interesting twist, this scratch card uses a bakery theme, with the baker being a zombie. You are faced with an oven and 9 loafs, and the goal is to scratch off all of these and reveal the contents of those loafs. You can find everything from rats, mice, teeth and more. If you’re lucky enough to find a detached eyeball in your loaf of bread (which you don’t get to say very often) then you all win a jackpot that is 10,000x your stake. This means that for a single $1 card, you can win as much as $10,000. This game can also be played for as little as $0.10, which would net you a jackpot of $1,000.

We actually prefer this game to the Bill & Ted’s scratch card mentioned above, because not only is the jackpot 4x bigger, but the second biggest jackpot on Dawn of the Bread is the same as the biggest jackpot on Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.

Bowled Over

In the words of 10CC, we don’t like cricket, we love it. Except no, we don’t. In fact, we don’t like cricket at all. Still, we did enjoy the Bowled Over scratch card, which is based on the game of cricket. There are 6 cricket balls here which you need to scratch off, with three either side of the card. There is also one in the middle, which is a completely different game.

If you find 3 matching symbols in the 6 balls then you can win as much as 10,000x your stake. If you “hit the wicket” in the second game then you will win the prize that is shown. We played this game a lot and we enjoy scratch cards that offer more than one game, but don’t think that your chances of winning here are bigger than the other scratch cards. The fact that there is a third fewer symbols in game 1 pretty much offsets those odds. The second game does throw-up some occasional wins, but these are usually small.

Still, it is a fun game and one that comes with a huge jackpot and two chances to hit it, so we can’t complain.
